His unspoken love for Verónica (a customer with a romantic taste in movies, with whom he also shares similar moral values) keeps him afloat in the monotonous and hopeless life that's suffocating him. But when morality and necessity collide head-on with reality, his convictions waver, and everything around him is no longer what it seems.
