Si Pitung (Dicky Zulkarnaen), a student of H. Naipin (M. Panji Anom), gains the strength to fight against the oppression inflicted upon the common people by landlords. With the help of his friend Djiih (Sandy Suwardy), he thrashes the landlords' hired thugs as well as the colonial police officers. Meanwhile, the colonial police commander (A. Hamid Arief) devises a plan to thwart Pitung. Pitung’s girlfriend, Aisyah (Paula Rumokoy), is taken to become the third wife of Demang Meester (H. Mansjur Sjah). Just as the wedding celebration is about to take place, Pitung succeeds in rescuing his beloved, declaring that he will go to wherever people are in need.
