He now lives in his parents' house, decorating it to his liking and revealing a strange and solitary character, an obsessive-compulsive about cleanliness, order, and perfection. Vanessa Iturriaga is his neighbor, and we discover that she is part of that compulsive past. They don't seem to know each other, but he appears to have been following her trail for a long time. Pepe will resume his old obsession and dedicate himself to recording her every move, day after day, trying to get to know Vanessa.
