However, Waldo quickly loses the metal container holding the map. It is first found by local children and later ends up in the hands of a poacher named Fons. Fons uses the secret map to blackmail the new baron. Greed quickly spreads through the estate, leading to a dark turn of events when Pieter, the castle's servant, murders the poacher to steal the map and claim the hidden treasure for himself.
